The winners of the RSVP Melbourne 2009 awards were announced this morning (Jun 25) at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre, including Best Small Stand of the Year, Best Large Stand of the Year and Best New Product of the Year.
Winner of Best New Product of the Year was Litefast's Salespartner for Australia "Durham AV" with the LiteFast 360 Magic transparent display with 360-degree viewing angle. Available in two sizes, the product features multiple RGB LED panels that can display three images of 800x600 pixels which spin at 820 rpm. According to Durham AV general manager, James Keane, the product can be hired or purchased and comes packaged with a PC and proprietary software.
“The Litefast can reproduce anything a plasma can – it is networkable and is great for exhibitions as digital signage and conference information. We are able to write and provide the content or you can write your own content and of course just like any computer it is USB compatible,” Keane said.
“Gone is the day of the LCD and plasma – people just don’t see them any more – there’s no surprise factor,” added Durham AV account manager, Paul Webber.
